The Yuma Region Bicycle Coalition's annual Tour de Fields bicycle ride connects cyclists of all ages, abilities, and style as they navigate their choice of four routes of differing distances. The routes are carefully selected to expose the rider to a variety of crops grown in the fertile Yuma Valley. Keep an eye out as you pass each field for our customized signs that identify the crop being grown. You likely could even get the chance to see the produce being actively harvested!
All net proceeds from our annual Tour de Fields event go to support two charities near and dear to us: scholarships to students pursuing a degree at the University of Arizona, YRMC Pediatric Oncology Resource Center, Crossroads Mission, MIKID, Proverbs 31 Home, and Wellton-Mohawk Fine Arts and Historical Association. Your generosity makes a very real contribution to our community!
The ongoing COVID pandemic has taught us all a lot about how to best protect ourselves, and how we hold the power to take care of ourselves using our own informed decisions. We stand by the belief that with proper precautions and use of your own judgement, this will remain a great ride to participate in.
The safety and comfort of our riders, hosts, and volunteers is of great importance to our organizers. Below are some key points to know, as well as a link to further FAQ concerning our ride. We value you and want to be sure you're out riding for years to come.
