Welcome to the home of the
Yuma Region Bicycle Coalition

2022
Tour de Fields

in Spectacular San Luis, Arizona!

CHARITIES

The Yuma Region Bicycle Coalition's annual Tour de Fields bicycle ride connects cyclists of all ages, abilities, and style as they navigate their choice of four routes of differing distances. The routes are carefully selected to expose the rider to a variety of crops grown in the fertile Yuma Valley. Keep an eye out as you pass each field for our customized signs that identify the crop being grown. You likely could even get the chance to see the produce being actively harvested!

OUR CHARITIES

All net proceeds from our annual Tour de Fields event go to support two charities near and dear to us: scholarships to students pursuing a degree at the University of Arizona, and the YRMC Pediatric Oncology Resource Center. Your generosity makes a very real contribution to our community!

COVID SAFETY

PLEASE READ!

The ongoing COVID pandemic has taught us all a lot about how to best protect ourselves, and how we hold the power to take care of ourselves using our own informed decisions. We stand by the belief that with proper precautions and use of your own judgement, this will remain a great ride to participate in.

The safety and comfort of our riders, hosts, and volunteers is of great importance to our organizers. Below are some key points to know, as well as a link to further FAQ concerning our ride. We value you and want to be sure you're out riding for years to come.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE DAY-OF REGISTRATIONS. WE WILL OFFER SAFE PACKET PICKUP AND LAST-MINUTE REGISTRATION THE DAY BEFORE.

IF LOCAL RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, RECOMMENDED PHYSICAL DISTANCES WILL BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED AT THE EVENT START LINE, ALONG THE ROUTE, AND AT EACH SAG STOP. OTHER HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT WILL BE POSTED AS WELL.

APPROPRIATE PRECAUTIONS WILL BE IN PLACE AT OUR HOST LOCATION, AS WELL AS ANY SUPPORT STOPS ALONG THE WAY. THIS INCLUDES SAFE FOOD HANDLING AND SANITATION STATIONS FOR YOUR USE.
